A little about me
I'm Kristīne Zikmane, a graphic designer with a background in New Media and a passion for visual communication, digital creativity, and emerging technologies.
I enjoy transforming ideas into clear and engaging visual concepts. My work spans product label design, event posters, promotional campaigns, and social media graphics, with an emphasis on typography, composition, colour, and consistency.
With a foundation in digital design and 3D tools, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to creative projects. I enjoy exploring new tools, learning new techniques, and finding the right visual approach for each brief.
I believe effective design is not only about appearance. It is about communicating the right message, creating a coherent experience, and making information easier to understand.
My Approach
I start from the message: what needs to be said, and to whom. Typography, composition, colour, and consistency are then used to make that message clear and engaging.
Education
Bachelor's degree in New Media. My academic work included exploring 3D modelling and virtual reality for interior design presentation.
Beyond Graphic Design
With a foundation in digital design and 3D tools, I'm curious about emerging technologies and enjoy learning new techniques that broaden how ideas can be presented.
